Movie option obtained for Pascagoula alien abduction case based on three books by UFO researchers Philip Mantle (West Yorkshire, England) and Dr. Irena Scott (Ohio, USA).
UFO researchers and authors Philip Mantle from West Yorkshire, England, and Dr. Irena Scott from Ohio, USA, have, for over seven years, been researching the 1973 alien abduction case that featured Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker. The encounter in question took place on the Pascagoula River, Mississippi, while both men were fishing after work. The encounter, reported to Keesler AFB and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, took place on October 11th, 1973, and hit the headlines shortly thereafter.
Over these last several years Mantle and Scott have dug deep into what is now judged as the best documented case of its kind. Between them they have uncovered an archive of material, much of which had been buried for decades and more that had never seen the light of day before. Additionally, they uncovered and interviewed many first-hand witnesses who saw something out of the ordinary that night in 1973.
Their three books: ‘BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT-The Pascagoula Alien Abduction,’ PASCAGOULA 73-The Hypnosis Transcripts,’ and ‘PASCAGOULA UNCOVERED-Witnesses, Files & Audio Tapes’ have all now been optioned for their movie rights by Heather Hale Productions in the USA (https://heatherhale.com).
Heather Hale commented: “Philip and Irena have done all the hard work.” “They obtained files, audio and video tapes, documents, photographs and most importantly, interviewed dozens of eyewitnesses.” “They have made my job so much easier as a result”. Mantle added: “If there is one alien abduction case that needs to be a movie, then this is it. This case has it all. Scott went on to say: “The Pascagoula case is quite remarkable, and both of us are thrilled that someone appreciates our work enough to consider it worthy of a movie”.
The movie project has a working title of ‘THAT NIGHT IN PASCAGOULA.’ Mantle and Scott have already sent a wide variety of information to Heather Hale, including, of course, the three books.
All concerned are confident that this movie project will come to fruition, realizing that this is just the beginning and there is a long way to go. But as Mantle said from his home in West Yorkshire: “Spielberg has the fiction but we have the facts.”
