Ancient Ephessos, Turkey, May 2001 – The Celsus Library is one of the most spectacular restorations in Ephesus. It was built by the Council Gaius Julius Aquila in 110 A.D. construction was completed in 135 A.D. It was estimated to be 12,000 books, witch made it one of the largest library collections of the antiquity.
